Care and Maintenance

Plunge Placement: Your Desert Plunge Exclusive should be placed out of direct sunlight. Select a location in a garage, under a patio cover, umbrella, or shaded area to avoid midday sun exposure. The tub is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use when properly protected from direct UV exposure.

Water Treatment: While the integrated filtration system keeps water clean, additional sanitation is recommended to eliminate bacteria and viruses. Two primary options are available:

Ozone Sanitation (sold separately): A chemical-free option where an ozone generator attaches to the back of your plunge using the pre-installed ozone-ready holes. The generator releases ozone into the water on a timer schedule, providing hands-off maintenance. Users must rinse off before entering and wear only swimsuit material, as ozone is a powerful oxidizing agent. Note: In freezing climates below 20°F, ozone tubing requires monitoring for blockages and should not be used.

Sirona Water Maintenance Kit (sold separately): A chlorine-free and bromine-free chemical treatment added based on weekly water testing (pH strips included). Sirona is a stronger cleaning agent than ozone, ideal for multiple users or less diligent pre-rinse routines. Testing and dosing information available on the Desert Plunge care and maintenance page.

Routine Maintenance:

• Replace filter cartridges as needed (typically every 3-6 months depending on usage)
• Clean intake strainer regularly to ensure optimal pump performance
• Test water weekly if using Sirona treatment

Returns: 30-day return policy from delivery date. Product must be in unused condition with original packaging. Return authorization is required before returning any product. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product arrives damaged or defective. Restocking fees may apply.

Warranty: The Desert Plunge Exclusive includes a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Extended warranty options for an additional 1 or 2 years are available at the time of purchase. Warranty covers the tub construction, chiller unit, pump, and filtration system. Normal wear items such as filter cartridges are excluded. Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Commercial use may void the warranty.
