Shipping, Returns, and Warranty
Shipping Information:
The Modtub 2.0 will be delivered via LTL freight shipping on a pallet. Estimated shipping time is 5 business days from order placement. Once your order ships from the Texas facility, the freight carrier will contact you via phone, text, and/or email to schedule a delivery appointment. The pallet will be delivered curbside at your residence. You are responsible for moving the unit to your desired location and disposing of packaging materials. The delivery driver cannot assist with moving the tub or bringing it inside your property.
A "no signature needed" delivery option can be arranged upon request if you cannot be present for delivery.

Cancellation Policy:
Orders may be cancelled before shipping with a 10% cancellation fee. Custom color orders and personalized items cannot be cancelled.
Return Policy:
Modtub does not accept returns. Once your item has shipped, the purchase is final. All sales are final.
Warranty Coverage:
Modtub offers a 1-year limited warranty on the Modtub 2.0 Cold Plunge from the original date of purchase (not delivery date). This warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and service for all components including:
- Tub/Cooler body
- Chiller unit
- Pump assembly (pump, impeller, pump cover)
- Filter and filter housing
- Electrical components (power cord, GFCI adapter)
- Plumbing (hoses and fittings)
Warranty Exclusions - NOT Covered:
- Minor cosmetic blemishes (dents, warping, scuffs, scratches, discoloration, fading, non-sticking graphics, wear to skid pads)
- Damage from freezing conditions
- Damage from direct sunlight exposure or outdoor weather exposure
- Improper maintenance or improper water chemistry
- Owner negligence
- Minor leaks and condensation that don't affect functional performance
- Damage to chiller from freezing, rain, snow, or improper electrical connections
- Lightning strikes, high voltage spikes, flood, insect damage, chemical abuse, or delivery damages

To receive warranty service, you must provide proof of purchase. Modtub will determine if the claim is covered and may require a troubleshooting session. If necessary, Modtub will provide replacement parts or components with instructional support. Labor for repairs is not covered under warranty. This warranty is non-transferable.

Important Outdoor Use Notice:

Because the tub body and lid are molded separately, you may notice slight gaps or that the lid doesn’t sit perfectly flush. This is completely normal and varies with temperature, since plastic naturally expands and contracts.
The important part: every Modtub is designed with an oversized gasket that compresses tightly against the tub body, creating a secure seal. So even if the fit doesn’t look “perfect,” your tub is still performing exactly as intended.
Since this is a natural result of the molding and material process — and does not affect performance — it is not considered a defect and is not covered under warranty or replacement.

Yes — the Modtub is suitable for outdoor use, butit must be protected from direct sunlight and freezing temperaturesto maintain performance and avoid voiding your warranty.
We strongly recommend placing your Modtub in a shaded or sheltered area such as under a patio, deck, pergola, or umbrella.Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause warping and damage and will void the warranty.For this reason, never leave the tub in direct sun for extended periods — especially when empty or not in use.
The chiller should also be shielded from weather exposure like rain, snow, and excessive heat. A covered and ventilated location is ideal. If your unit is outdoors and covered, make sure the chiller has adequate airflow.
In cold climates, you must take precautions during freezing temperatures. We recommend using thechiller bypass hoseand relocating the chiller indoors when temperatures drop below freezing. If running the unit outdoors in cold conditions, always keep the pump running and check that your filters are clean. For maximum water flow, you may remove the filter entirely to reduce flow restriction and help prevent freezing.
Damage from freezing or sun exposure is not covered under warranty, so please be proactive in protecting your Modtub if kept outdoors.
The answer is YES! There is no need for a higher HP chiller when your tub is this well insulated!
Thanks to the remarkable insulation of our tub, the 1/4 HP chiller operates smoothly without any struggle, ensuring a consistently cold water temperature, even in hot climates. The 1/4 HP chiller's recommended volume is 40-92 gallons - any chiller size bigger than this just wouldn't be necessary!
The Modtub will be shipped to you via LTL freight on a pallet. Once picked up from our Texas facility, the freight carrier will reach out to you via call, text, and/or email to coordinate the delivery appointment. The pallet will be placed curbside at your residence, and it will be your responsibility to relocate it to your desired location and handle the disposal of the packaging. The delivery driver WILL NOT be able to help you move the tub inside or to the stop you'd like to set it up.
Upon request, we can coordinate a "no signature needed" delivery appointment if you are unable to be present for delivery.

The water temperature can reach as low as 39 degrees. Upon setting it to 39 degrees, the water will promptly cool down to the designated temperature and subsequently shift into standby mode until the water exceeds 2 degrees above the set temperature. Consequently, when configured to 39 degrees, the water will consistently maintain a temperature range of 39-42 degrees.
There are two different components to keeping the water clean: filtration and sanitation. For filtration, you need to keep your filter cartridges fresh so they do not get clogged and prevent flow. Depending on usage, you typically need to change your filter cartridge every 2-4 weeks.
For sanitation, we recommend purchasing our Sirona chemicals, and following our sanitation guidelines. If you follow these guidelines and change the filters appropriately, your water can stay clean for 3+ months.

Included with your Modtub is an instruction manual on how to put it together as well as a QR code to a video showing how to assemble. It is best to set up with at least two people, and it should take about 15 minutes to put together. The only tools required are a box cutter or scissors to cut away the packaging.
